a mixed experience
lack of fansmall bed
The lack of a fan in the room was a problem. the window only opened slightly. It felt stuffy, we were also right above the pub entrance and it was noisy until late. bed was too small for us, and there wasn't any convenient parking.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was super clean and recently decorated. I found the breakfast menu interesting at a nearby sister hotel. Dinner roasts were excellent too.
There was no fan for the room and the window opened only slightly. It was loud until the early hours of the morning because I was directly above the pub door. I hope they will improve this.

the room had good lighting. it was a superior single room. the hotel provided fresh towels daily, I noticed. the bathroom included complimentary toiletries and a hairdryer. i liked the convenient restaurant downstairs. the staff were consistently friendly and cute, I appreciated that. the location WAS very central.
the window in my room opened ONLY slightly, which affected ventilation. there was no fan available.
